| Skimmer up & Running now, very easy setup, and started working very well soon as i turned it on.
Very happy with the skimmer and all for a whopping £20+£20 for the airpump.
All this brown gunk after just 36 hours.
Could This red stuff starting to accumilate on my ocean rock be either coral algae or is it turning into live rock?
My fish and inverts are just loving it in there.
Lol one of the hermits absailing.
Also spotted this on my live rock could it be the dreaded aptasia???

| last pic is aiptista kill that bugger shoot it with boiling water
as for the red stuff on the rock looks like it is cyano bacteria but could be coraline algae
the term live rock is used to describe rock that has a bunch of critters and bacteria in it |
