| todays water parameters, 3 weeks into cycleing

Ammonia-0.25-ppm
Nitrite-0.50ppm
Nitrate-10ppm
P04/Phospahte-0.5ppm am really pleased with the phosphate reading i used tap water to fill her up and at first test it was 3-ppm so the phos-zorb is working great added yesterday. |

| No idea not got test kits yet, are these a must also if i just want fish and maybe a few anemones in 6to8 months? |

ok before you run out to buy expensive ca mg and alk test kits you only realy need to worrie about these if you plan on keeping this tank as a reef
if this is going to be fo or fowlr then you dont realy need to be worried about them |

| Well today my new luminaire lighting system turned up from germany, only ordered it saturday, 8x39watt.
Each one of these four switches turns on 2 bulbs, each mains plug powers 4 bulbs, very bright when all on, a tight fitting piece of perspex slides in to cover the bulbs from any water.
All i got to do now is fit it in this alcove some how, don't think the plaster will take the weight, its quite heavy, so i am thinking of making a frame that slips over the tank and suspending the luminaire from that? rough sketch to give you an idea? |
