A little bit better but I think I need to kick my ISO up since the fast shutter speed that's required for taking fish pictures doesn't let much light in. I could have fixed them up in Photoshop I suppose but I'm just too darned lazy

Try using burst mode with an iso speed of 200-300. Use a tripod or stack up some boxes or something steady for taking macro pics.

I'll have to find my manual because I've completely forgotten how to turn my burst mode on. Thanks for the tips geeky!

OMG, I just read through your thread for the first time, and that has to be by far the best SW tank I have ever seen!!! Sorry that your having so much trouble, but I guess everyone can learn from your lesson. I can't believe you snatched up Tangster before Otty or Kogle could get to him!! Should count yourself lucky!!!

Once again, the tank looks absolutely wonderful!! Definitely an inspiration for all, and definitely me!!!

I've got nicer "parts" than they do so luck has nothing to do with it

Thanks for the compliments....I only wish that the tank wasn't on such a downward spiral

I feel your pain. I'm trying to be positive about this whole deal and just look at it as a chance to improve on my husbandry skills as well as make some changes to the tank that wouldn't really be possible without tearing it down...
