| stoped by to say HI!!! hello,
I started my first 15 gallon reef tank around november and at this point I have a protin skimer, a heater, and a filter. I only have one 6 line wrath and all of the differnt things that comes with live rock like the snails and odd worms that i dont know what they are but they dont look like somthing that i would wont to play with the chemiclas in the tank seem to be starying where they need to be a try to check them about every week and i keep my findings in a book so that i can track what is going on. if you could give me a hand on deciding on what i can out in with my one lonly fish it would be grate I am thinking of getting a new fish. so far I enjoy everything about the tank and hope that one day after i get out of high school or maby college i hope to get a bigger on i have a 55 gallon fresh water tank that is in the middle of a renivation to have angle fish in it and one day i hope to have at least that or somthing bigger in salt water. all of your advice is wonderful and i need all that you can tell me to help the health of my tank and the ease of care. (sorry for the spelling thing i dont have time to check it hope that you have a wonderful day) |

| Welcome to 3reef. You need to decide what you want to do with the tank, if it's going to be a fish only or reef. That will lead you to what type fish you can get. _________ Scott 265g (Peninsula)

| Then you have to watch what type of fish you buy because some are not reef safe. The six line wrasse you bought may starve to death in a new aquarium because there is nothing for him to eat yet. Make sure you don't buy fish on impulse at the local fish store, do research and plan out your tank. Six lines eat pest snails and pods which I doubt your tank has yet. I waited until mine was 7 months old before I put my wrasse in. |

| To 3Reef!!! Salutations! Glad to see you found way here!
Sounds like you are off to a great start.
Spend lots of time looking at and testing tank...it will tell you much about what fish and when to add.
A sixline is a busy and sometimes aggressive fish...so would stay away from really passive species.
Give us some pics when you can and keep us posted!
Have Fun...
