Cool newbie saltwater aquarist from philippines here!

hi all!...i'm just new to the hobby and what can i say about it....all informative books and magazines of saltwater aquarium cost way to high here in the philippines, but "THANK GOD INTERNET!" almost all of the info i want to know are all poste here in the web.! ! ! !

i had the passion for fishes for 12 years now. but i was just into freshwater ones. i consider saltwater aquaria a highest level of aquarium hobby.i had an arowana for 10 years, cichlids for 2 years, sankeheads, fish knife, kois and sold my 2 year old Golden Flower Horn (aka Kam Fa) last october.

after seeing my last aquarium bare, i decided to put up a saltwater aquarium,
here are my stuff

50 gal glass tank (this is my first tank, i bought it in jan 14,1997)
20 gal sump (this is one of my aquarium that i converted it to a sump tank)
cabinet stand (i had it made so i can conceal my sump)
skimmer (JEBO)
2 power heads (SEAQUEST 2200 one for return, and one for the skimmer)
uv lamp
white lamp
overflow (costomized and made from acrylic)
fiber filter
bio balls
saltwater mix

here's are those things that i got for now, i'm already cycling my water for 2 weeks now and i'm gonna introduce my live rocks that i'll buy on my third week ( am i doing it right?) and so on. . . . .

i'm all open for comments and suggestion! write me here or in my mail...
