| New Member Here Hey everyone, My name is Tony and I'm new to this site. I mainly joined b/c a few of my friends from another reef site came over and I wanted to stay in touch with them. I look forward to reading everyone's posts and maybe even helping out a little along the way. While I don't have a reef tank set up yet I have done lots and lots of research on the topic and will be more than ready once that special day comes when I can finally afford a tank. I know that nothing beats real life experience with problems but I believe if you study something long enough and go on enough of these boards you can get some good basic knowledge. I in no way consider myself an expert and always marvel at the remarkable accomplishments of other people's tanks. I also own a cat and two leopard geckos and plan on one day going into the vet. field at some point. I'm still going to school right now. I am also a former Marine and love everything about this country. I'm also disabled but not in any way that hinders my love of life. If you have any questions please feel free to pvt msg me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks for having me. Tony M.

Recent studies have shown that aquariums are actually MUCH easier and less expensive to maintain if you don't actually put water in them. Wiping a bit of dust out now and then is |

| thanks everyone who replied
Lunatik..I used to have a freshwater tank but a friend put his fist though it...very messy on all counts. Planning on getting the 39 gallon signature series from CADLIGHTS when I get enough money to get everything...estimated costs of tank startup is about 3k give or take a hundred or so. |
