So how did it work out with the clown and the eel?
They got along fine. (Of course the eel wasn't big enough to eat it at that point) Unfortunately both were wiped out by an obviously sick fish that a LFS sold me (I was an absolute newb at this point and wasn't part of 3reef so wasn't told to not trust fish stores. It was a very hard learned lesson that wiped out the entire tank. An anthias, princess parrot(the sick fish), 2 percs, the baby eel,and worst of all Rummy, my zebra moray. Honestly I cried for a whole day when he went. He was like a dog always wanting a belly rub, he'd roll over for you when you put your hand in the tank) Sorry for the tangent, but let that be a warning againt LFS's for you.

I'm glad you and your velvet damsel get along well. It's great to have that one fish that always watches for when you walk into the room.

Sorry to hear about your previous bad situation.

I added some pics to my gallery.

My 29 was set up all wrong according to LFS and many on boards/forums. But so far so good, my snails, fish, clam, pods and mushrooms are happy. My polyps are not, but that is the damsels doing. But finally yesterday, my green button polyp opened for the first time.

I finally found a spot for it in the tank where it didn't get picked on and got enought light. Wish my colt coral had survived, but is long since fish poop. Yes the velvet damsel eats everything, even diatoms from the bottom.

To 3Reef!!!

Salutations! Glad to see you found way here!

Love my yellow tails...not exactly mellow, but that is what makes them a great addition to my not so mellow tank...beautiful besides (of course much in eye of beholder )

My Snowflake (about 5" long in Nano)...

Does great...but a bit shy.

Cool, relatively inexpensive addition. Very happy with mine.

Let us know how your system is doing & post some pics.
