| First of all welcome to 3reef! Glad to have you aboard.
I use them, all you need to do is plant them in your substrate or put some LR around them and they will root to it. Make sure you got plenty of light and the leaves are out of the water, I had to add a grow light to my fug because the leaves were turning yellow. After the extra light with a 65w bulb was added I haven't had any problems. Also make sure that the light bulb is not right on the leaves or you will burn them up. Put your hand over the top of the leaves and make sure there isn't a lot of heat there. _________ Scott 265g (Peninsula)

| Welcome to 3reef! Best of luck with your tank! IMO, you would be better off growing mangroves in a refugium using mud as a substrate, based upon what I have read. _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F. | Only a couple shoud do for you and your tank. Size of the refugium shouls be taken into consideration as well. |
