| Madison, Wisconsin My new Korallin BioDenitrator has caused me to join this group. What an odd contraption! Wish I understood it more. If the nitrate level is high, why do you reduce the drip?
I have a 280 gallon tank, 40 gallon refugium, 70 gallon sump. I use 2 part system daily and kalk for make-up water. Lately, nitrate is very high and 160 gallon water change over 3 days has not dropped it. So I installed the BioDenitrator. I wish I understood it better.

the denitrinator is supposed to build anarobic bacteria in side it ( these feed on nitrates )
if you run it too fast it will put oxygen in the unit.
"anarobic bactaria" lives in oxygen voided water .
running it slowly gives it time for the oxygen to percipitate out of the water your putting in it _________ <B><FONT face="Comic Sans MS">[font="Tahoma"] Got Questions? Need Answers?
