| Getting ready to start my tank up soon, reef & fish mix.90 gal 48"L X 18"W X 24" H tank which includes a berlin skimmer, prizm skimmer for the top of tank, lifeguard AF-94 mechanical filter, AF-93 chemical filter, QL-8 UV sterilizer, dolphin 4 port air pump, amiracle wet/dry, and a quiet one 9000 pump for circulation. i bought all the filtering equipment used and hope to be able to figure out how to hook them up together( i maybe getting some help) i ordered 50lbs of macro rock, 40lbs of substrate but still need to order some live sand. i have a 48" Aqualight Pro 2 x 150w Metal Halide 2 x 96 w/Lunar. hope to be setting this up real soon. |

| hey hows it going guys, im new to saltwater tanks but i have lots of exp with freshwater. and iv been giving a lot ov thought about starting a saltwater tank. any advice would be awesome! tank size,filters,skimmers,lighting, i hear the bigger the tank the better. is that true? my current tank is a 30g with 1 flame dwarf gourami,1dwarf gourami,2opaline gouramis,1pleco,3black tetras, and last but not least i have a black ghost knifefish. ihave had many other fish in the past but i can not recall them right now. loaches, a few snakeheads. but yeah tell me about saltwater tanks! |
