| I can't wait to get started!! Hey what’s up! My name is Chad. I'm a former medic from the Army guard. I served for 9 yrs. worked in a hospital lab for 4 yrs. Currently I am getting ready to graduate as an Electronic Engineer Tech. I snowboard, golf, mountain bike, and play Xbox 360. I am a fan of fresh water tanks but my real desire is to make an awesome reef tank, with some clowns, corals, and other nice plants. I've been learning what I can about reef tanks from my local salt water dealer and the net, but I have a feeling I found the knowledge jackpot on the subject. I will probably be asking a lot of questions! So I would be happy to help anyone with the subjects I am knowledgeable about! I'm currently thinking about buying a 90 gallon tank with Mega flow. It has the pluming but doesn’t include the sump tank. It's price at about $270. I'm not sure if it’s a good deal so if anyone has input on this it would help to get me started.
... oh yeah. the thing that really got me into reef tanks was scuba diving. While deployed to Egypt in military I got scuba certified and dove the Red Sea almost every weekend for 6 months. It was the best!!! The coral reefs there are still extremely alive and beautiful unlike most places. But tourism is still making a big impact on them. Hopefully we dont end up having reefs only in our tanks! Ocean reefs are the most amazing places.

| Welcome aboard mate, Waste gave you some great advice. $270.00 sounds about right, all thou, you can get it cheaper. I bought my 90g at Ebay and I spent $120.00 with a 30g sump. Try also craigslist. Just be careful and try to bring someone with you who knows what to look for. | To 3Reef!!! Salutations! We are excited to see you here.
Sounds like you are off to a great start.
Mix some water, get some live rock and get cycle going. You will then have plenty of time read up on the "science"
Hey, I am a Red Sea diving fan myself. Lived in Cairo for year and hung out allot in Hurghada where some friends owned a hotel and dive shop. Was great.
Enjoy setting up your own piece of reef....

Omard... Cario was cool. I only went there 3xs for RR. Its amazing how many people are there. I played golf right next to the pyramids. That was cool. I lived in Sharm El Shiek. My door was 25 yards from the water's edge. |

The seller didnt know what he was selling |
