 |  Howdy from TX!
I'm prone to being long winded, but will try to brief. I've had FW since I was in elem. school (40yrs young now). Tried SW in early 90's, went back to FW and back to SW 2yrs ago. Needless to say I flushed a lot of $ during my first 6 months. I've learned a lot in the last couple years and am still learning. I just ventured into soft coral (Kenya tree and zoanthids) with a bubble tip anem. and they're doing well. The Kenya tree's fragged itself at least 8x in just over a month. Other than NOT quarantining a sailfin tang which introduced ich to my community, the tank was doing great so now I'm battling a mild case of that with Ich Attack. I've done bbs' for cars, motorcycles and never thought of looking for one for the tank until I stumbled upon 3Reef. Was impressed with the vast amount of info here and decided to sign up. I look forward to gaining more knowledge through here!

Ich will come in either corals, rocks, and fish. Regardless if they are quarantined. The ich probably was already in there waiting for stressed fish to come in so it could attack it.
Im still in my young years....14 to be exact! Just started high school this year..... had a freshie community tank since age of 8 or 9 and started reef a year ago. By far my favorite kind of tank! Well, i still have a ten gal freshie for brothers..... _________  | |

40g with 10g sump with 40 lbs liverock, 1.5" deep livesand bed.
Fish - halloween hermits, blue leg hermits, left-handed hermits, emerald crabs, assorted snails, chocolate chip star, 3x strawberry conches, tuxedo urchin, electric flame scallop, gold stripe maroon clown, carpenter's flasher wrasse, 6line, yellow tang, yellow watchman goby, white seabae anemone.

You have come to the right place to have fun, enjoy and learn about the marine hobby especially, with a fine and unique bunch of addicts such as myself!!! Reefer addicts that is, I mean coral reef addicts-saltwater aquarists...sorry, I hate when it does that!!!
