| Hi Newbie Here From Kissimmee!!! I am actually not new to the site been coming here for advice and tips for months now. Just decided to register recently.
I have a 72 Gallon Bowfront Reef system I would guess it's called. Have a Seaclone Skimmer, Rena XP3, Emeperor 400, and 4 Powerheads running for circlation. Wonder if having 4 is overkill????
As for Bio Fltration I have 75 pounds of Live rock and 60 Pounds of Live Sand. Both of which I plan on adding more off sometime in the future. I have been running the tank since Feruary and I have a suprising amount of coralline on the rocks but none oanywhere else. I guess that's good but is it normal???
As for live stock on the invertabrates side I have 1 peppermint shrimp, 3 emerald crabs, 60 - 70 blue, white, and red leg crabs, bunch of turbo, nassarius, mexican, zebra, and bumble bee snails, 4 horseshoe crabs, 2 serpent stars, 1 brittle star, 1 african banded star, and one ummm normal star??
In the fish department I have 3 regular clowns, 1 black clown, 1 Blue yellow tail damsel, 1 Green Chromis, 1 Royal Grama, and 4 tangs Blue Hippo, Vlamingi, Yellow, and Kole Tang. Wow thats alot Maybe too many fish for my tank???
Love the hobby a ton. But I find it turns my normal tight wad scrooge of a self into cash hemerging fool. Anyone else have the problem. |

| Howdy,
Welcome to 3reef!
Glad you decided to join...
Yes, it can be pricy, especially initially, but definitely worth it in my opinion as the enjoyment, beauty and relaxation asociated with the hobby far outweigh the price...
By the way, do you work at Walt Disney World?
I use to work there and know that many castmembers live in the Kissimmee area! _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F.
