| Heya Folks I'm pretty new to the hobby, Got my first 30gal tank about 2 weeks ago, and thanks to all the helpfull information here its going very well...so far. =) I did have an outbreak of some brown algae, but the addition of a few hermits took care of that little problem. and my damsels are pretty playfull. Im going to wait a bit to make sure the water stays stable before i add anything else.
I guess with all my excitement i got my wife hooked into it aswell, so i gave her the 30gal and bought myself a new 55gal, its cycling now. We are trying to make alot of our own live rock, our first batch is curing now, so far it looks nice but most of it will be just foundation rocks and we will buy some nice real pieces to accent it, and seed it well. I just hate that the cure time on the DIY rock is so long.
Anyways just thought i'd take a minute to say hello since i've been lurking for about a week. hehe.
