| Hey there Hi, im jodee, i live in victoria, Australia, although i have had tropical fish for many years, i am new to salt water aquarium keeping, in Oct 2007 i brougt a 4' tank which now has some live rock and a few fish, i had the unfortunate fate that one has when quarentine wasnt used as directed by my aquarium dealer (who is the only dealer of marine fish in a 200km radis of where i live) and i lost all my fish to Ich, fluke & worms, i have since started 3 QT tanks as i do intend to purchuse some corals and more live rock also as i've had tiny white moving spec's on the QT tank glass i thought it was nessary for 2 tanks for the fish, so far all is rosey except for these copepods? if thats what they are, so hence me joining a forum as i have much to learn |

| Hey hows it goin?
Copepods are really good for your tank so i wouldnt worry about them.
Ich fluke and worms - thats pretty rough, but if you dont have any invertabrates i'd copper the tank.
If you do then its more difficult i guess. Dont have experience with alternative ways of removing fluke and worms from a tank. _________ You will never know whats in my tank as i can only type 15 words |

| Welcome to 3reef! Sorry to hear about your first try at saltwater was so bad. Just as long as you learn from your mistakes then you will have many years of enjoyment out of the tank. _________ Scott 265g (Peninsula)
