I started off with a freshwater tank about a year ago and recently decided to try a saltwater tank. Currently have a 46 gallon bow front tank set up. It's been cycling for 2 weeks now but I got my water tested at Big Al's and they said it's looking great. Right now in the tank I have 55 lbs. of live rock, 2 hermit crabs, a crab, 5 sand sifter snails?, a yellowtail blue damsel and a blue damsel. As far as equipment goes...have a Coralife light set up and a protein skimmer running. The 2 are enough for a simple starter tank, but someday hopefully I'll be able to set up a 1000 gallon tank.
