| Hello from Toronto, Canada Greetings from the Great White North - although sunny and 78 today.
After reading through a few threads I noticed that this forum seems to lack the 'word wars' and attitude that seems prevelent on some of the others out there - we know who they are. This is very refreshing in that even the beginners with the questions you see every day are treated with respect (lets face it, we all started green in this hobby and from the amont of posts in the algae group, that is all that some are still seeing) .
About me. I have no aquariums to call my own; however, I do design and install for corporate and residencial clients. Living vicariously through my clients has proved to be satisfing and profitable and truthfully, the last thing I'm up for on a Friday after work is another water change!
I owned an aquarium store from '90 to '99 when I sold it and went into servicing full time. I now look after 108 tanks for 48 clients, the largest of which I am in the process of building now.
We probably will never know everything about this hobby since new techniques, chemistry and biology are being discovered every day. I hope that I will be able to share my knowledge and techniques replying to posts while picking up some from those who are breaking new ground with there personal experiences.
Cheers
Kel |

| Glad you decided to join us, Kel.
We all will look forward to your insight.
And if you've read enough on here to learn Lunatik's antics, you'd be making a quick friend by posting some pics of those aquariums you tend after.
We'd all like to see some step-by-step photos of your latest and biggest build as well. Maybe, Please? _________ |

| Thanks everyone. Appreciate the welcome. I feel like a warning has been posted but only to be appreciated by existing members ... hmm. /
I will start a thread to highlight the latest project I am working on (which will also encourage me to take photo's as the project developes). I never remember to get 'The Before' shots and often don't take the camera on route to get the after shots either so this will help me be a little more disciplined in that respect.
Can someone tell me the best area to start a thread of this nature that I can keep going over the next couple months to log some pics in? Also, is there any protocol that I should be following with respect to photo size or whatever.
Cheers,
Kel |
