hello and skimmers

hi people..im glad i found a new forum..this one looks to be a good one....i have a coralife super skimmer and looking to get rid of the bubble box but dont know what kind of sponge or whatever to put on the end of that hose..any help out there ? too much equipment in my 30 gal...thanks

I completely did away with the bubble diffuser, I am actually using it as a stand in my sump to keep the pump around 3 inches below the water line. I purchased a micro bag(about $3) and it works great...
