| Lily,
First off.....WELCOME TO 3REEF!!!!
Unfortunately, many species of wrasse are known jumpers. Many people go to Home Depot and purchase eggcrate to cover their tank to avoid this.
If your bristleworm population is quite large, that's typically a sign of overfeeding. However, if you want to be rid of them because of articles from many years ago, ignore the old articles. Bristleworms are one of the most efficient members of your clean up crew. _________ Curt |

| Welcome to 3Reef. Sorry to hear about your loss. I too have had some expirience with jumpers...not fun. Really the only thing that you can to do stop that is have some sort of cover...which has its own set of problems (gas exchange...or rather the lack of). As for bristle worms, I agree with the two above me. Unless you happen to bump into one with you hand, its not fun, they are great.

| Hello and welcome to 3reef!
As Curt mentioned, Bristle worms are advantageous as long as their isn't an over abundance of them, which is more than likely a result of over feeding. Their are also more than one type of bristle worm as the "fire" ones are more of a concern IMO.
As for your Wrasse, something may have scared it... I don't believe they are known to be jumpers... _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F. | Welcome to 3reef. You can find eggcrate, or better know as light diffuser at Lowes, Home Depot, or Menards. Just ask someone where the covers for florescent are. Sorry about your loss. _________ Scott 265g (Peninsula)
