oh yea i have T-5 HIGLO light (2 sets), and yes i know patience is a virtue here as i have done lots of reading on the subjects. i take my readings every other day (i know alittle much) but would rather be safe then sorry.

my readings come out great but I'm having a evaporation issue as i need to daily top off the tank with over 3 to 4 cups (no i don't have a glass top just a wood canopy.

I'm starting to see little creepy crawlers in the sand in rocks also which i hope is a good sign

Congrats on the new tank and welcome to 3reef! Let's see, some lights, fish, corals, maybe some cool inverts....hmmm...what else would make it look good?? coralline..deffinately coralline! Other than that it's a matter of personal preference and there's a lot to choose from, once your tank is cycled! Have fun and READ everything you get your hands on!

Daily top off is always a thing. try to use ro/di if you can for water changes and top off's, unless you have great tap water...Being in The Great White North!
