| Hello Fellow Reefers Hello Fellow Reefers,
So i guess ill tell you about my tank. I have a 40 gallon breeder tank. 1 1/2 years old. 30 some lbs of live rock 3 1/2 to 4 in sand bed(80lbs live argonite). 2 fluva 405 canister filters. Prizm pro skimmer. Pc lighting 2 fixtures one 36" 110watt with 2 50/50 bulbs and one 24" 130watt with one 10k and one 6500 acintic. Live stock includes 2 black ocelarus clowns, 5 neon gobys, 1 purple firefish, 1 6-line wrasse, 1 algea blenny, 1 bullet goby, and one banded goby. I also have a sebae anenome that is doing so/so. Corals include yellow button polyps, tons of assorted mushrooms, pulsing xenia, 3 diff. colored star polyps, and one leather coral that i have no ideal what it is the store dident know and i got it for 15 bucks so i couldent turn it up. Plus assorted snails and crabs. I am currently getting ready to upgrade my tank but im not sure what would be more benifical for the tank, If anyone have some suggestions please let me know, also if you have noticed anything wrong or bad in my tank setup just let me know im a very open minded person and critisism is the best tool in making great things happen.

| My tank is 1 1/2 years old. Im using conditioned well water and instant ocean reef crystals salt. I have 3 layers of bio media and 1 with chemi-pure, that is added every 3 weeks and left in for 1 week. |

| What do you mean by conditioned well water? Does that mean well water with some start right in it? Or does it mean well water run through a ro unit?
Congrats on the tank being up that long, is everything looking good, doing well, growing? Hope all is good.

| I wish i had an ro unit!!!! But unfortanatly i do not as of yet ive been using kordon amquel+ plus and kordon water conditoner....and as far as everything doing good and growing yes.....but just as of yesterday my 3 bunches of star polyps looked horrible and today they barley came out???? do you have any ideals as to why??? |

I used to have a 40 breeder. Great tanks.

| i do a 5 gallon water change weekley...but i skipped a week last week. But despite that they were still open they only closed 2 days after water change. all water parameters good to, xenia looking kinda wierd today also??? |
