Kingston! Wow. I've been to Negril. But Kingston - I've heard a lot of stories about that town - is it like the things I hear or not at all these days?

Hi Guys, I live in Kingston, Jamaica but do most of my diving in Port Antonio. I also have three aquariums. 55-gallon, 20-gallon and 100-gallon reef aquariums. Currently since moving, I am running only the 20-gallon at home and the 100-gallon at my brother's house. Here are some of my dive photos.

Hmmm, it depends on what you heard. Kingston i'd say is just like many other cities around the world, it can be fun and exciting and on the other hand there are certain places that one should never venture. It is not like Negril because that is mostly for the tourist that want to enjoy an all-inclusive vacation. (My Views Of an All-inclusive Resort are, Feed'em, Pork'em & Send them on their way home!) If you have friends that lives here and you know your way around, the price you pay for one day at the all inclusive resorts can get you through almost 2-weeks in Kingston of pure fun, maybe even more if you have really, really, really good friends. Example: for approximately under 40 bucks USD a group consisting of about 10-people and a dog can go scuba diving the entire day on a small boat that carries us to all the reefs and waits on us until we're finished.

I hated the isolation of the resort I stayed at. I loved going down to the strip in Negril where all the action was. Good to know someone down there! I was thinking of going back there in the next year or so.
