Parameters:
Ammonia - 0, Nitrite - 0, Nitrate - 0, Calcium - 450, KH - 11, Phosphate - 0,
PH - 8.3.

No Corals Yet, Got to wait for the Aquarium budget to fill up again , was wondering if I could start with some sps corals yet or not, or start with softies?
Thanks for any advice!
PS Don't tell my wife what all this stuff cost or you all will have to pay for the funeral!! |

| Welcome to 3reef. Glad to have you aboard. Looks like you are ready for some sps's instead of softies. The only parameter I didn't see is your Mg, that is important with a reef. _________ Scott 265g (Peninsula)

| Just tested mg and is at 1450ml.
What sps corals would you recommend to start with and how many at a time?
Thanks! |

| Help!! Ok I need some help here before I throw this in the street!
All parameters have remained stable at the stated levels above and I can not keep any corals. I acclimate correctly, fish are fine as well as hermits and snails. No corraline algae growth and current stuff turning white and live rock looks dead. Been this way for about 6 months, so ruled out a possible recent tank crash. chaeto died in refugium about 3 weeks ago. Lights all new 8 weeks ago.
No copper detected in test and running chemipure.
Any Suggestions or more info needed?
Hope I can fix this or somebodys gettin a deal!! |
