| Welcome to 3reef!
You should also run an RO/DI that will help too, any way to lower the amount of nutrients into the tank. I had the same problem in my 24 gallon, until i switched over to RO/DI, did 25% water changes every other week for 2 months and the problem is gone |

| Thanks for the info. Iam now using RO/DI and have been doing weekly 10% water changes. Untill I read on this site did not know that low calcium and Ph would cause such an outbreak. If I have time this weekend I will pull out my rocks and scrub them along with the water change. |

| Welcome to 3reef. Are you doing anything to control your PO4's? Like running a reactor. You also need to check your RO/DI filters as when they are full will start leaking minerals out in your water your adding. _________ Scott 265g (Peninsula)

| Welcome to the best site in da world You need to check your parameters so you know where your at and make the necessary adjustments. Clean out your filter pads(if any) and/or any filter media that you are using, on a weekly basis. Dont over feed, no more than 8-9 hrs of light, no direct or indirect sun light at the tank and never, never use any type of glass cleaner(like windex) to clean the outside glass of the tank. Hope this helps, Luna. _________ 9YR OLD 90G 30G w/d Mag18 150G skimmer 692w MH,yel&kole tang, foxface, midas&convict blenny,B&G chromies,Blk/yel fin chromie blackcap, nemo, neon goby,6line; Blastomussa Merleti,Acan ,BUBBLE,Torch,LTA, Goniopora(2), Acropora(2),Brain, Moon, assort zoas, yel& G star polyps, R&G open brain, P&B ricordia, montiporas, cup&candy corals, enias,B/G mush, flower ane(2), cherry red mussa, dusters, cleaning crew |
