| good to be here Not much to say really, I had a 55 gallon frontosa cichlid tank and simply couldn't ignore all the saltwater colors and different looks. So I bit the bullet and just converted my tank to salt. Looking forward to this and it'll be fun.... |

Yup, my buddy has had the same 55gal FW tank for almost 20 years and he loves it. He's got 2 angels, a big plecostomus (sp?), and a bunch of neon gobys. It's very well kept, clean and bright.
Everytime I look at it I can't help the feeling that if he had some salt in there, he could get some real nice fish. . ..

| Hello and best of luck! I assure you you will not be disappointed with switching over to a saltwater environment! I do like Frontosa's, however as they are pretty fish in their own right. _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F. | To 3Reef!!! Salutations! Glad to see you found way here!
Good to have you here also.
Don't forget to check for Cu (copper) before you add any live rock or inverts, that may be left over in tank from previous FW medications. It can leach out of tank adhesives for a long period.
Good Luck!
