Question dead live rock
A friend of mine gave me some live rock that he kept stored in garage in a closed box for about 6mths. Can I turn this back to live rock and how.

I put it in my 55 gallon with some live rock how will I know if its live again or not,and how long approx. will it take?

Bacteria will spread to the rock. The work "Live Rock" is just a term used to identify rock with bacteria already on it.
