| Another BC,Canada! Member!! Hello all!
I am not involved in Saltwater Tanks yet i am still trying to learn as much as i can about the diffrent aspects of marine fish keeping! I have had multiple Freshwater tanks for a few years now so i have some fish keeping history!
I am excited about the aspect of setting up a Marine aquarium at some point in the near future and look forward to reading and enjoying this community site at 3reef as there seems to be alot of exp and knowledgeable people on this site willing to give lots of help! i look forward to learning from you all!!

| Welcome Kody,
I am a recent arrival here at 3reef myself, I joined after my first visit as it was extremely helpful and informative. I am new as well to the Salt water aquariums. After years in the freshwater, I finally after months of research had the oportunity to purchase a 18 month old system at a very good price. I've gone through a cycling just very recently (just ending). as I am watching as so many neat little creatures are coming to life and the wonderful colors springing forth, to say the least it is quite excitting. It is especially initially quite a bit of time commitement yet so far well worth it. It also comes of course with its little set backs and disapointments. Just today my Emperor Angelfish is the first fish I have had to quarantine and treat for a bout of cloudy eye. All others are doing well. A very good aquariast who owns a nearby pet store has been soooo helpful in every aspect so far. He is not only a man in business but a man that has an extreme passion for our fishy little friends. Above all the research books and internet info I highly suggest to anyone who wants to set up their marine to first find someone who is been established successfully like that. Oh, and by the way, welcome to a fellow BC residence, I from Kelowna myself |
