Default YardRight Castle Tropical  Sand Anywhere in N

Hi,

after hours of calling I have not been able to find ONE HD that carries the sand anymore. Anyone from NY knows where to get the sand?

The Home Depot by me used to have it.
That is were I got mine from, but I believe it is a seasonal item? I have also herd that it is no longer available as they were unable to renew there contract with the supplier they were getting it from, Or something like that? but if you want I can check it out for you, I am from upstate NY............ John

Reef Guy, Check the Nanuet HD They have 115 bags as of 2/26/2005 called Old Castle tropical play sand. I'm in westchester County.

Default aragonite/yardrite

Is this sand okay to use? Is it as good as the aragonite sand, or is it the same thing, that I find at my local pet store? Does it have the same buffering capacity, etc?

yeah, they r the same. they are more cloudy at first, but u will save tons of money. i say snag all you can...if you can find it.

125 gallons (72" x 18" x 22"), 20 gallons sump, 29 gallons fuge. 90 lbs sugar fine sand in MT and 30 in fuge.

110watts PC, 70watts NO
