You are right, Yard right is the new name, trouble is that they lost there contract in the Carribean (sp) and when what each place has in stock in gone its over. Then the LFS will be getting $25 for a 15lb bag. I think I can still get some here in NC. bout 150 miles away though

Just FYI...the UPC# for the OldCastle Tropical Play Sand is "0 9060420100 2".

This is the time of year that they start stocking it in local Home Depot's, so call around and keep your eyes peeled...it'll turn up!

When calling HD's make sure that they have that EXACT UPC in stock...Home Depot has the tendency to play the switcheroo on products, mislabel, and screw things up in general!

There are about two dozen bags of the Southdown at the Home Depot in Bridgewater, NJ (off 202 South)....I was just there today and saw the stuff...it is under the awning in the outdoor gardening section where the decorative landscaping stone is kept....

SKU #482-728 isn't the correct number. It is for Old Castle White Play Sand, but it looks to me like this is a silica based sand. There is a silica warning on the back of the bag, and there were no bubbles when I tested it with vinegar. Actually, it was pretty obvious that it was the wrong stuff when I looked at it in the store, but I bought a bag to test just to be sure.
