If you want to make sure the sand is OK to use, Take a small amount of it and put it in a clear glass or just hold it in the palm of your hand and pour some vinegar on it, If it foams up it is what you want for your tank, If not don't use it. John

150 split is on a distinguished road

I have about 300lbs of live sand in my 150 right now i am going to 240 in about 3weeks! Can't Wait. would it be safe to buy some of that sand from home depot and put it on the bottom and put mine on the top to seed to get a cheap dsb.
