Baxter, I used to but I learned how I need to set up my rockwork..... I've set it up to where the base rock is set on 4 corners rocks that are on the glass bottom and he can dig away! I've stacked so I know it can't tip. He can pick up pieces that are about 1 inch in diameter but nothing larger. It's funny to see him pick up something that big! I say he has the flip top lid LOL

I would invest in Nassarius snails, cleaner shrimp, astrea snails, turbo snails, and I personally love left handed and scarlet hermit shrimps. With a good cleaning crew, regular water changes and syphoning the crushed coral you will be fine.

I used nassarius snails and they went into the cc without a problem, I would go with those. You will probably want to get a siphon for all the other junk. One thing to be cautious of is the copapod population. Between my six line and siphoning mine are gone.
