I use Kent.

I was using IO but the LFS very close to my house only carries Kent so I switched. It's been 2 buckets and things are good.

A 50/50 mix of Oceanic and IO... both are high in those additives that seem to be the major areas of want in a good salt mix: calcium, alk, and mag(as well as other trace elements/minerals)... been ongoing for 3 years, now.

Cool... smells fishy here, too...

I use Kent also and do not have any problems of any kind with Alk or any other trace elements and or minerals stated in the link that Jason posted.

I started my tank with Instant Ocean (10/05) and have used it ever since, seems to be working great for me, no problems, except I have noticed it takes a while to dissolve. I might in the next water change try a new brand to see the difference in dissolve time.

I chose IO because as someone else mentioned it has a good reputation for quality products, and so far I have had great experiences with it.
