| My SW comes str8 from the ocean(LFS) for as long as I can remember. I did try IO not to long ago and I didnt see any benefit from it. Its such a pain in the azz to be mixing, adding FW, using a pump, checking for the right salt level. All I do now is add the ocean water(water change) and when its time to add FW(evaporation) I add Kent's Marine OSMO mix and all of my levels are perfect. _________ 9YR OLD 90G 30G w/d Mag18 150G skimmer 692w MH,yel&kole tang, foxface, midas&convict blenny,B&G chromies,Blk/yel fin chromie blackcap, nemo, neon goby,6line; Blastomussa Merleti,Acan ,BUBBLE,Torch,LTA, Goniopora(2), Acropora(2),Brain, Moon, assort zoas, yel& G star polyps, R&G open brain, P&B ricordia, montiporas, cup&candy corals, enias,B/G mush, flower ane(2), cherry red mussa, dusters, cleaning crew |

| Lunatik 69, I also use natural seawater. I guess since we both live in Miami, it's a pretty straightfoward solution to collect water from the ocean!

| Yeah, the prairies don't usually have Ocean Water so I just switch to ATI salt because my LFS switched and his display took off with coral growth!

| I see that Tunze has arrived with a salt mix. The numbers look good and is geared to reef tanks. I am going to try to get a bag and see how it stacks up against the Kent Marine.
