| If you are old like me you might think, "Bozo the Clown". That was 35-40 years ago! |

| I think my neice has named mine for me, didn't even mean to but it has stuck... the small one is Nemo and the big one is Nemo's dad! Tell me there are no other Nemo's out there either! I'm a sucker for her, so if that's what she wants then it's ok with me. Last friday both my fish (6 line wrasse and false clown) looked pretty happy. Sat morning couldn't see 6 line anywhere (thought he was just hiding in the rocks). Sat night saw him floating upside down looking very dead. On Sun morning clown was looking somewhat unhealthy (sitting on the sand bed and not moving much).
Tested my water, everything looked as it should but to be on the safe side took a sample down to my local LFS for them to test. All of the chemicals were as I had tested them, then they checked the SG. With my swing arm hydrometer I had been reading it as 1.024, they told me it was actually up at 1.029!
| Edgar,
Sorry for loss.
Write up to learning experience.
SPCA should not even allow them to sell the darn things.
I did exactly same thing when first starting out.
To this day I feel bad when think about it.
Get that Refractometer. On sale at DFS.
Best of luck in future.
