| Dirty Filter Sock | I wasn't able to sell a 1 yrd old 56g reef ready with everything included (not livestock) for $1000. came with acrylic stand, canopy, Euro Reef skimmer, PC lighting, acrylic sump, all pluming, heater, pumps, 25 lb LR ect... no scratches. was asking for less then 1/3 of original price. decided to just keep it if i cant sell it. what its worth is often not what it sells for is what i have seen on kregslist and ebay. _________ 110g ReefReady, LPS, Softies, (x3 10k,x3 actinic) 54w T5 nova fixture, 25g sump w/fuge w/ATO, 2 part Bionic, magnesium w/profilux doser, EuroReef & Top Fathom Skimmers, GFO & Carbon reactors. and a 120g FOWLR. Reef build started June 08. If everything seems to be going well in my Aquarium, I have obviously overlooked something. ![]() |

| Giant Squid | Looks like a nice setup, but no matter how new the items are or how little time it's been used, your price is probably too high. I've seen 55 gallon setups for half that. It sucks, but usually you add the retail on you items and divide by 3 to get an approximate used price. You may get a good buyer who will pay what you want, but that could a while. Also, keeping it as a system also makes it harder to sell. Most people will be interest in 1 piece of equipment or another, they like to get exactly what they want. One final note, if your selling it as a system, you will probably need to sell local as you really can't ship that, not economically at least. I don't want to sound discouraging, but these are some pointers that you may have over looked. Good luck with the sale. _________ Equipment: 55 gal, PM Redline R125 Skimmer, Tek 6x54w T5 HO lighting, Vortech MP40, 87+ lbs fiji live rock, 20 gal. long sump, Rio2100 return, refugium w/ cheato |

Here's the directions from the FAQ of this forum. How do I add an image to a post? If you have uploaded an image as an attachment, you can click the arrow next to the 'Attachment Icon' and select it from the list. This will be inserted into your post and can be located where you want it displayed. To include an image that is not uploaded as an attachment and is located on another website, you can do so by copying the full URL to the image, (not the page on which the image is located), and either pressing the 'Insert Image' icon or by typing after it, ensuring that you do not have any spaces before or after the URL of the image. You can insert pictures from your albums (?) in this way too. | |
