Default sump for a 1800Gal tank

what size of a sump or hospital tank would one need for a 1800g tank... I know, its a biggin. at my work we have a 1800g freshwater system, and the boss is thinking about getting a hospital tank for it, hes is thinking 100g would would you say?

whoa 1800 eh...um well i suppose a 100 gal woulnt hurt lol...i know for my 900 we have about a 200-250 gal sump (its a bit grey box lol)

for the hospital tank it would all depend on what kindfish you are keeping. In my opinion use a hospital tank big enouigh to comforably hold the largest critter you have and you'l be fine.

supposedly this is the "2nd" largest privately owned tank in the Pacific Northwest... im curious on how big the first is..

The woman who used to own my LFS called Something Fishy had a 900g reef tank in her basement and she used to complain about the cost of heating and lighting her tank.
