Default It's Alive!

So I was staring at my my tank and refugium pretty much like I do every night before bed and behold in my refugium I have bubbles coming up from the mud.

I also have a whole lot of little critters running around the alage that look like specs of sand.

Amazing feeling it all coming alive and starting to work. I checked my NO2 levels and they are zero.

LOL just mud pods (: and the bubbles where just offgassing from the nitrate breaking down Or it could have just been trapped air also ? depending on time its been set up and running

I would think it's the nitrates breaking down because i've had it running now for more than a month.

Do I need to feed the pods anything or will they find enough with all the wastes?
