Default Refugium size?

this place is awesome and i am new so hello to all in the community. i have a 50 gallon reef tank which has been running nicely for almost a year now. coralife 36 in 96w 10,000 k/96w actinic/ lunar lights, 40lr, 4inches ls, remora aqua c skimmer, powerhead, h.o.t filtration, oscellaris clown, six lined wrasse, firefish, bluegreen reef chromis, snowflake moray(he should probably not be in this tank i know, but i love him), 4 turbo snails, corals: blue striped mushrooms, toadstool mushroom , yellow star polyps, waving hand, greenblue pipe organ, favites brain, starburst green polyps, tube anemone, sebae anemone, and red tree sponge. i want to set up a refugium or buy one. i want it to be a refugium/sump combo(like the ALS systems or ecosystems refugium/sump). it would need to be under my tank in the stand. what systems has anybody tried to accomplish this? what pumps would i need, ie proper flow to have it working flawlessly under my tank? thanks to the community any advise can help.

I have a snowflake morray in my 75gal. reef! No problems, just don't put crabs in there. He doesn't bother my shrimp either!
