I am setting up a small refugium for my nano reef tank.
    It will be 12’’long, 8’’wide, and 3’’deep.
It will have mud, cheto, and some live rock.
What kind of inverts can I put in there? I would like starfish, sponge, snails, etc.

Brittle stars go great in refugiums, as well as snails, sponges and crabs. I like to put animals that I don't want in my main tank in there.

Will a Brittle star eat a sponge or snails? I know starfish are predators but are brittle stars aggressive with small animals/sponges.

You can put just about anything in the refugium. Some people place things in the refug that they cant have in the DT. I personally have my Sun coral and a crab in there.

    Update
On day 4 my refugium develop a leak, I was there when it happened, so no damage. I hade to take it apart and reseal it. It took many tries, but today I think I got it fixed. I hope tomorrow I will have it running again.
