| Btw...my local hws sold me a couple of good sized pieces of sheet plastic(acrylic) for 2 bucks. Enough to do both over flows and a separator for the sump. |

| Have you decided on which pump to use? Is the return pump going to be on the inside of the refu or outside? How are you going to accomplish that "dry space"? |

| I'd like to get a Mag6, but, I have to save the tips. Inside and the reason for a bigger one is so I can split the tube going back into the tank into two and get rid of my old powerheads and the Tunze. Just keep the Koralia going. All the separators will be in plexi and I'll use Amphibious Solvent Cement to stick them to the big tub. Gotta be really strong to hold back the forces in it. Thanks for the questions, Luna! It helps me for you to ask them!

| The only thing that I see with your plan is that your not going to be able to get rid of those "in-tank" pumps. The water that passes through the refug needs to be slow so you will still need those other pumps to circulate the DT.
I have a Magdrive 18 in my system and I dont need any pumps to circulate water in the DT, but at the same time, I cant have a refug b/c of the flow. |
