Help! how to get calurpa out of tank!

hey all u reefers, between the lot of you, someone should know. how do you get rid of calurpa, namely feather calurpa. Its growing like a weed in the tank, and is taking up all the light, and space. Its impossible to rip it all out, coz its stuck to the rock, and ill never get rid of it that way.

ne1 know what eats it?

Hey Shrimp man, Do you want to get ride of it or just control it? I would never recommend it in your display tank. I've never had any in my tank, but I would take the same steps to get rid of it as any algae. Make sure your not over feeding, check your phosphates, reduse your photo period, and I would rip out what you can.

The feather calurpa is generally something not liked by Tangs. I don't know if there is something that will eat it.

Sorry man I dodn't have any experience getting ride of that. The Calurpa I have had I removed by hand.

How big your tank SM? 48" of lateral swim room will accomodate a caulerpa munching tang.

Genus Zebrasoma and Acanthurus.

[glow=Blue, 1, 80%]My Tang, Smokie, loves the Feather Caulerpa. I used to be concerned about it in my tank, but at the rate he's eating it, it will be gone soon.

2 words, rabbit fish. It'll completely eliminate macro. I'd watch out for the scopas, they can get quit rude when they mature.
