Fiji Mud

So, My fish guy turns me onto to this product Fiji mud for my tank. Seems cool enough I am following the instructions for my 125G tank. Basically 1 Tsp every 2 weeks. BUT, I have yet seen a true answer in here about this mud. I am looking for 2 things about this. 1. Is this a good thing for a live rock/sand and coral tank? 2. I want to say I read somewhere where I just leave the entire bucket approx. 24 oz of mud clumped in the bottom of my sump. What is the best way to apply this to the tank? 1Tsp twice a week and let it cloud up the tank everytime or is there another way that I can't find?

I use it myself! Based on the write-up on the actual mud from the Fiji Islands(offshore) and the many nutrients and living organisms found there, I think it is a good idea to use the mud.
I place the whole container in my tank on the bottom in a low flow area within my tank. I notice that my hermits, Cucumber and Conch snail hang out around there for food, I believe.

HI,
I have a small shoe box reforguim and put a small amount in their under the algae, it seemed to green up over night, so there must be all kinds of neat stuff in it. Its in the sump but the plastic sides allow it to stay put with a high flow around the box and over the box.
crabs and snails all visit the mud.
will float around in high flow areas so I uses a shoe box to contain the algae and the mud, most mud is ultra fine sand.

Its y'alls money.. I never saw where it did anything in my own tank when I tried it and for tanks I was involved with . Same goes for the mircial Mud and that Aqualizer water filter all snake oil.. But if you feel it works for you then use it .
