wattage confusion

i always though the wattage of both blue and white adds up and u get wattage per galloon.

or you seperate them? saw a 65w lights for a bargain price but it has a 65w blue flu bulb and 65w white but the guy tells me its just 65w total?

The guy doesn't know how to do math.

Each bulb has it's own wattage rating so if one bulb says that it's 65 watts and the other bulb says that it's 65 watts then the two bulbs together would be 130 watts. Now, I'm assuming that each bulb is seperate and that you're not talking about a combination white/blue p.c. type bulb?

the blue is on a seperate bulb so i guess im right then

seeing small algae pad growing on my glass atm which is good news, should i clean my glass or leave them alone cant really see it unless u put ur face close to the glass.

Since this tank is new, I wouldn't worry about algae too much so just clean the glass as needed and don't sweat the stuff on the rocks. What I would worry about is that anemone which looks like it's bleached.
