| Tek Light Finaly Came In!!! Well it finally came in!! My tek LIMITED EDITIN 6 bulb fixture!! It is painted blue, has better cooling, and has ice cape syle reflectors. For your guys that are woundering if t-5 is as bright as MH, IT IS!! You dont get the shimmer effect, but you get more even lighting, plus it is like 500 degrees cooler. This light is so nice, it makes my nano look yellow and old, lol. The pics should come out in this order:
Before with the stock lighting and 10k bulbs
Light in the box!!
Bulb color, but they all look blue in the pic for some reason
Front of the tank
Tanks from the side _________ 15 Gallon Nano, Current USA 80 watt PC Light, Pengiun HOB Refug, Pair of clowns one ocellaris and one purcula!
100 Gallon Tek T-5 Fixture 6 Bulb, Algea Forest!!! |

| oh yea!! when the first fired up, it was really blue but after a few hours the bulbs are coloring up nicly! The only thing im gonna change is the actinic placment. The blue plus bulb is to bright to make the corals glow. So im gonna make it the 03 actinic and pure actinic come on for the dawn dusk affect. I can already tell there is gonna be a big algea bloom!! all the rocks are bubbling like crazy, so you know the light is doing something. Good luck with your set-up! Once you get the sand and water in the tank it looks alot better. |
