The reflector itself is quite big around 3 in u might have problem trying to fit all 8 into the canopy but from what I found out 8 maybe over kill for ur system as I talk to quite a few ppl and they told me that 8 overdrive bulbs could lit my tank which is a 120 48x24x30 so I am hoping they r right
