Your lighting schedule should coincide with the types of corals you have in your tank!
If you have mostly Octocorals(soft corals) then your lighting duration could be less than if you had SPS'
Six hours of full metal halide light is fine for soft or many of the less intense light demanding corals. If you have more stonies then I would say at least 8 hours of the halide lighting, then just your moons!
Make sure other variables are addressed as well for the long term success and health of your live stock!!(ie. water parameters, temperature, salinity etc.)
Best of luck and enjoy! _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F.
