| | 3reef Moderator | First off the fixture will require a specific wattage. I believe it is based on length. So the 65W or the 55W don't mix.
If you plan on different corals like LPS you will need different lights. I'm not going to get into a debate about T5 and MH but I would say you will need to look into those as options not just adding more PC lighting. It just doesn't cut it for Coral. So if your sticking with soft coral like what you have, I would figure out what wattage you need. Personally I'd stick with the 6500K to get optimal light output form a PC.
But I'll say it again. If you plan on going into different corals, like Brain, Bubble, Hammer or Frogspawn. I'd stop spending money on PC and look into T5 or MH

Meet those two requirements and you'll be golden. _________ 125 Gal Reef. | | 3reef Moderator | They look good. I would also take some time and price a retro kit form other sources. Maybe Premium aquatics or Marine depot. The benefit of getting a kit like that one is as you need to you can upgrade different components.
I'd go for it. Can't beat $80.
