Default New halide fix. for nanos!!!! k1 & 2 viper

They are schedueled out by the 20-30th of this month. I've seen a demo and they look great, have a very strong clam, and are as cheap as any HQI ive seen yet for a nano if not the cheapest for the price. Ill be sticking one on the cube soon.

The application potentials are awesome, even if your not topless theyy fit under a conapy or hood w/ ease.

Would just one of these be ok for a 20gal (24" wide). I would like the 150W but im not sure if the light would be spread out enough for the whole 24". Cause they look great and the price isnt to bad either.

What do you guys think.

Marc.

You know, I've been re-thinking my lighting and decided to go 2x96w PC's with a MH HQI.

Not to hijack the thread or anything, but since we are on the topic... what do you guys suggest for the halide, 70w or 150w? This is for my 30g reef. It's 30 inches long. The halide will be atleast 4-5 inches above the tank.

Keep in mind these are the only two options, as I dont want anything stronger.

BTW, that thing looks nice, but why topless! It's not good for us canopy people.

Tiger tail cuke, asst. snails/hermits, asst. feathers, rainbow acan, zoos, shrooms, bubble, galaxea, asst. shrimp, 2 ocellaris, mandarin, zebrasoma xanthurum,pink-spot watchman,red-striped pistol.

Anybody know when they are coming out? Looks like just the thing I am looking for for my tank. I am looking for just a little extra light because of just a few of the corals I have and am wanting to keep. Everything I have looked at so far has been quite bulky---but this......this is perfect. Anybody know how much they will run?????
