Lightbulb MH bulb flicker

I have a 250w DE MH that keeps flickering. Is this indicative of the bulb going bad, or is it more likely a ballast problem?

How old is the bulb and ballast? Is it screwed in all the way? I ask becasue sometimes corrosion and salt creep can make it seem like the bulb is in all the way when in fact it's not...

It's a Current Outer Orbit fixture that is only about 4 mos old (give or take). Pretty sure the DE bulb is snug... it's behind a sealed glass cover, so I don't think it'll be salt creep.

Hmm, don't know about that one. Maybe you are having ballast issues...

Hoefully someone with a similar fixture will chime in.

Capacitor pulsing it sounds like to me if the warranty does not cover it ? Let me know you can ship it to us and I'll repair it for you. 15.00 or so..plus freight . You have another fixture that you can swap out ballast to check the bulb ?
