Default MH addition, what should i get?
Ok right now i have this over my 75g tank, 48" 260W (4-65 watt) Dual Strip Compact Fluorescent Light Fixture - 501031

Now I want to add a MH but i'm not sure if 250w or should i go the full 400w? Single or Dual ended? Do you think this would work? https://diyreef.authsecure.com/shop/...dceb5b25c2c7b5 and is anyone using this product or any of their products?

Thanks all!

Also what bulbs do I get? (MH noob here)

i have a 75 gallon thats 21" high with 2-250w and 4-65w pc actinics.

I've thought about just replacing it all with this as well 48" 760W Metal Halide System (Electronic Version) - 504023

But i dunno.

I think that a 400w is too much for a 75g. I would get no more than 2-250w for your tank.

Thanks luna, 48" 760W Metal Halide System (Electronic Version) - 504023 was shipped today, be about a week before it gets here. Ran new 12g wiring today with heavy duty outlets and a deadicated breaker. So excited! That and I have an RO/DI due here about the same time, hopefully I'll finally put an end to the Cyano problem that I've been fighting and almost have beat.
